Double Earth Gum Wonder:
Natural Mouthwash

Catch the Capricorn Moon trine Sun in Virgo for a great astringent mouth swish time (for loose gums)! Venus helps too, by entering Virgo and casting her harmonious ray on Taurus, the sign of the mouth. Do not swallow.

COSMIC TIMING: MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 5TH, Between 5:25 pm Pacific Time and TUESDAY, SEPT 6TH at 8:41 pm Pacific Time.  

Recipe:

1. In two pints of water, place a full handful of White Oak Bark (Quercus alba).

2. Bring to boil, boil for 1-3 minutes,  then turn down to ‘Low’ and allow to simmer until the water reduces down to 1-2 cups (your preference). The liquid should look quite dark and taste strongly ‘tannic’ and bitter.

3. Remove from the stove, and strain the liquid into a glass bottle.

4. While still piping hot, add the following:

   1.  One teaspoonful of Myrrh powder  (Commiphora myra)

   2. 3-5 drops of Tea Tree Oil  (the stuff is strong! Add to taste. (5 drops is very strong)

   3. Add enough Stevia (Sweet Leaf) powder to sweeten to taste (Stevia rebaudiana). Stevia doubles as a plaque preventative, plus does not encourage cavities as does sugar. Some may prefer the raw Stevia Leaf, although the powder works, and tastes best. Caution: some Stevia powders contain milk products, others do not. There are readily available organic Stevia extract products with no other additives included.

5. Allow to cool. Label. Keep in the refrigerator. This swish has a shelf life of several months.
