The transits of Saturn, Mars and the North and South Lunar Nodes are of particular interest to health. Although all planets exert their specific health-related imbalances. we will focus largely on these four (see workshop for detail on all planets).
Judith will be celebrating the release of her two new books (twins!), and available for signing: Medical Astrology for Medical Practitioners; and, Medical Astrology in Action: the Transits of Health.

MARTIAN VS LUNAR “BLOOD CLEANSING HERBS”
I’m currently obsessed with defining the precise difference in action between two families of herbs, both famous for their “blood cleansing” and “lymphatic assisting” properties.
These two herbal groups are segregated by color. One potent group of cleansing herbs encompasses plants with pink-magenta or pink-violet hues, observed somewhere in any one of their many parts (but typically, not all): leaves, stalks, flowers, berries, fruits, seed pods, seeds. or roots. This color range is not exactly purple or pure violet - there is always a strong pink or magenta component. This specific color is that rare hue observed in raspberries, cranberries and beets.

THE JANUARY 5TH ECLIPSE (EST/PST)
Partial Solar Eclipse (South Node side of node polarity) January 5th, 3:33am PST, at 15.25 degrees of Capricorn.
Let’s interpret this eclipse by sign, (Capricorn) and most essentially, by its nodal polarity. As far as I know, I am the first astrologer to bring out Nodal Polarity as an essential eclipse-interpreting tool. Today, I’ll demonstrate this supremely useful method.
My book “Eclipses and You: How to Align with Life’s Hidden Tides” includes the first Eclipse Calendar inclusive of “north” or “south” nodal polarity. Also included are rare substantial sections on Medical Effects and Cautions specific to each zodiac sign eclipse; and personal interpretations for eclipses in all signs, for each Ascendant sign and also for each personal planet that may be impacted in your personal chart!
The Celestial Dragon
All eclipses occur near one of the two “Lunar Nodes.” The North Node is known as “The Dragon’s Head”, and you guessed it, the South Node is the “Dragon’s Tail”. Soli-Lunar energy enters at the Head and exits at the Tail. Its that simple! However, interpretation is full of individual nuance.
The upcoming January 5th “South Node” eclipse in Capricorn
Our upcoming event is a “South Node Eclipse”, at the Dragon’s Tail. Effects are quite distinct from a solar eclipse at the North Node end of the Moon’s nodal polarity! This influences the everyone personally in a unique way. However, it also impacts the whole world.
The World, General Health Effects and Cautions: Greater Detail is provided on the global impacts of Capricorn eclipses in my book Eclipses and You (available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, American Federation of Astrologers, Inc.)
